Forum: web Subject: I Sincerely doubt I'm gonna get an intelligent answer, but..

..I first submitted my blog to be archived during February 2008. Since then, I've usually re-submitted it every 2 weeks. Now, I understand that it takes a while to process data (and no, I don't currently have any money to spare, and If I did, I don't have an account with any of the donation services since Amazon was dropped), but I am sick of waiting to view my blog on here. I was told that if I submitted something via Archive-it, it would be archived within 48 hours and appear about 6 months after that. Later, I was told it would be archived within 8 weeks and appear within 8 or so months after that.

Even considering that, it's taking a bloody long time for files I was TOLD HAD BEEN ARCHIVED to appear on here.

And yes, I expect one of those spammers to spam my thread, or some grammer-challeged jokster to post hilariously UNFUNNY jokes as a reply.

You might get some kind of intelligent answer -- if you post a question. Without a question, what kind of answer do you expect?

Also, it might be wise not to insult everyone who reads your post: "grammer-challenged" is pretty funny all by itself, but you make it seem like you think everyone but you is an idiot who doesn't have good "grammer", so you are kinda inviting hostility about your inability to spell grammar...

So I agree with you, I also doubt you will get an intelligent answer without asking an intelligent question.

Thank you for your insulting response which has zero relevance to my question (posted under a different account..for some reason, the Moderators let me do this)

Now look, I understand my spelling/grammar is shit. Mind you, when I posted that post, there was somebody going round IA with "replies" that were completely in lower-case and painful to read.

So, what does one have to do to become a "grammer-challeged jokster?"

Is there a special class I can sign up for, or do I have to be born illiterate? Is there an organization that holds an annual Grammer Challege for qualified joksters?

I sincerely hope I'm gonna get a dimwitted answer to my rhetorical inquiries.

Generally, you would have to write entire forum messages in lower-case, claim that 1939's "The Wizard of Oz" is owned by Paramount, and post reviews that don't actually review the item, but instead tell the uploader that they forgot to add ";" things to seperate the keywords.

The ";" things are called semicolons. Just so you know, these have nothing to do with your digestive tract. They are punctuation marks that designate a separation between clauses or keywords.

And, there is no such word as "seperate," although many dumb bunny Americans think there is a word that is spelled that way.

I asked for a dimwitted answer, and, boy oh boy, I sure got one! Thanks heaps!

I've already admitted my spelling is shit (and as I noted, the original post was about a poster who posted long-messages purely in lower case). Oh yeah, why do you think I'm American? I've never step foot in that country.

I have a pretty big number of pages on my website http://www.pictagging.com mainly gallery, can anybody confirm me, if my website is archived it will be only pages with text? or complete pages with pics, the further pages are in tree format like http://www.pictagging.com/Missouri/ or http://www.pictagging.com/Scottsdale/ etc and the final pages with gallery images are like http://www.pictagging.com/Pomona/Stevens-Brian.jpg.html or http://www.pictagging.com/Chicago/Weed-Charles-R.jpg

I am curious if I need to submit a sitemap on archieve ? is this a functionality?
